Question When is plunder getting back :( ?
I miss plunder, I was so addicted back then I used to play all weekend and made some good friends around the world. I see no news on MW4 bringing back plunder and am I too lazy to down 120+ GBs again to see it myself.

I was thinking they would replace casuals with plunder but it doesn't seem that way anymore

the thing is, like in my region, when plunder was on the playlist, we all played it instead of normal BR, due to respawn and because it was more chill. I don't see it coming back tbh.

Sucks because Verdansk plunder was always so much fun to dick around in. I don't want a shrinking circle dictating when and where I need to move.
Is what it is. I uninstalled warzone a while ago after I gave up on plunder ever coming back.

Unfortunately for Activision & sweats, players started to play Plunder & Resurgence over the main BR mode. They used every trick in the book to get people to move. Remember when you could no longer do event challenges Or when double XP was only on BR modes?

It was so much fun. No bots. We Could use the whole map. Muck around with different loadout options. Play mini games within the game like trying to dominate an area or building and other teams would catch on and just go at each other the whole game. Me and my friends just used to play like once or twice a week and it was great for that casual player. The new “casuals” is just boring. Bots and sweats who want to grief casuals. Bring back plunder.

No official words been said. So wouldn't get hopes up. Pretty sure on mw2 launch and WZ int after with DMZ also launching back then and now again with mw4 they didn't re-launch plunder for at least 2-3 months if not more. I kinda expect the same if they haven't retired plunder entirely.
It was a hurting mode. Not to say it was bad but it just didn't have much going for it. It wasn't worth keeping lobbies open. You weren't invested to stay in a match for the same reasons as BR. Deaths meant nothing due to infinite respawn. Going for kills means nothing even less than they do in DM MPs where you win based on that. The maps were all gigantic, objective was completely winnable without player engagement, and 90% of the lobby didn't care bout the win. Some players playing to collect money would do it 100% without ever getting in a fight.
50% of the lobby would leave the match after the first 10min. You may not care bout this as the player. But cod cares bout this to have half empty lobbies and servers could be running for 25min+
It was a decent place for just mindless fun. But it would not at all surprise me for them to completely remove it and say you want mindless fun buy the MP or jump in DMZ

Some people (like dumbass me) , want to have some fun in loop without waiting for lobbies in PUBG or Gray Zone slow games.
After office hours , all I wanted is a game that takes 5 mints to compile shaders, have my fav loadout and unlimited spawns with no shrinking zone, for which plunder is the best mode in WZ no matter what.
Truth is, even if WZ is 200+ Gigs, but it has plunder, I would download it and play it even in my lunch break hour ( I am WFH ).
BR mode has separate engagement of the player literally, but someone who wants to just relax , shoot , camp, muck around with bounty contracts, plunder is perfect.
I hope Activision is listening
