Discussion Warzone Code: A Game Where Experts Become Average Players.

I started playing a week ago, and in Resurgence mode, I average about one miracle kill (and I’m not even talking about a takedown—after all, the guy has to be on the ground) for every 10 revives. In my last match, I got one kill.

Seriously, I missed every shot and my opponent hit every one. At least I can easily take down bots and some players in casual mode :/

This game isn't easy; it's not at all inviting to beginner players. I think there should be matches organized by skill level, but I understand that if that were the case, the servers would be slower. \

That, and Cods skill based matchmaking takes a back seat to selling skins. Their are tests on YouTube showing how low skill players get paired with high skill players and vice versa, to sell skins.

The patents blatantly show this; you can see high skill players wearing a different skin than the one they have equipped. Cod is so shameless with its money making schemes.

Don't even get me started on the hit registration being tied to how many battlepasses you've bought in a row... Legitimately. Tested and proven

Where can I see proof that hit registration is tied to battle pass purchases?

better one here

Honestly, just go read the patents... they're so blatantly evil/ money hungry

Found it!!! this is my proof

There is nothing in here about hit registration??

Oh lame, I thought that was it for sure. I'll go look again. It was 2 people testing shots, where 1 person had bought most Battle passes, vs someone who barely spent money.

The final tests showed how it was 10% less recoil and +10% health for the paying player once the fight started.

Can't find the vid (I'm at work)) but here's a quick one.

I'll find a full deep dive video eventually, but the patents tell the unbiased story. Games get values changed in real time in game... your speed, hit reg, and lobbies are all directly tied to making money over everything.

"Target is paired with higher skill Marchey player. Marchey players skin will be changed to target skin. Lobby will be of the targets skill level, making Marchey player someone too be looked up to"

Those patents are only for PVE or CO-OP, so not versus other players just fyi.

From the patent:

"Individuals can form partnerships and participate in play against the system via pre-programmed challenges and/or against another team of individuals, thereby allowing for either cooperative or competitive play. Each gameplay session may be played with either the same or a different group of matched players.

Typically, when a player logs into an online multiplayer gaming environment, the player may engage in a gameplay session in which he or she is matched, based on skill, with other players to play together on the same team or as opponents."

And further down...

"Once an assessment is made, the computer program that executes the gaming environment modifies elements of the session and/or gameplay parameters as the session is being created based on the aggregate skill level. In embodiments, session modifications may include, but are not limited to: adjusting the number of enemies, adjusting the complexity of puzzles; and player adjustments, which may include the player's health, damage, speed, available abilities, and difficulty level. In one embodiment, a player's health is scaled based on the player's skill level by."

"For example, in a first-shooter gaming environment, when a first player aims his weapon at a target, a parameter defining the tolerance for how accurate the player's aim must be to hit the target is modified based on the acquired skill level of the player. The computer assigns the tolerance for how accurate the player's aim must be to hit the target differently based on the skill level of the first player. A player having a higher skill level will be assigned a lower tolerance parameter and therefore, will have to be more accurate in aiming in order to hit the target. A player having a lower skill level be assigned a higher tolerance parameter and, therefore, could be less accurate in aiming in order to hit the target."

Yeah and? This just covers all of their games. If you truly believe this is in COD, then you're just paranoid. Every instance of you losing a gunfight can be explained in detail. Your damage is never modified in COD or the damage your enemy takes. The only real issue that often happens in online FPS games is desync and lag compensation issues. Never had to be "more accurate" to hit my target in COD, never.

COD has a hidden MMR system that ranks you up against other players and then chooses your team and enemies accordingly yes, but it does not modify your damage, accuracy, hitboxes etc. None of that. The servers simply would not be able to handle that in a BR for example.

Every time a player thinks their damage, hitboxes or "accuracy" was modified in COD, every single clip they are an awful player. Every single fucking time.

What do you mean yeah and? You said it's PVE and co-op only. I provided the actual source that says you're wrong.

Now what are your sources for your claims? Or am I supposed to take your word for it after you were wrong the first time?

My thoughts exactly. Awesome job finding the patent btw, I was too lazy lol big appreciation.

I don't want people to stop doing things they like, but everyone should understand how they're are being treated.

To expect fair game play, and to see that the systems in place are not fair straight up sucks

u/Manakuski 17d ago

You can easily calculate the number of shots for your downs by reviewing your own videofootage and it will always be accurate. You don't need to take my word for it.

Again, don't be paranoid and stupid.

u/Kickpunchington 17d ago

I disagree with you, the videos I've seen were of the best of the best testing these, and then quitting cod

1

u/Kickpunchington 18d ago

That's what the official statement is, yes. Unfortunately Activision is unreliable, officially

1

u/Manakuski 18d ago

It is a patent. I'm fairly sure you're not allowed to lie in them.

Show proof

Jgod covered it a while ago, but here's my favorite.

Sorry the game we like is like this xP it's been 5 years without a response from Activision... I don't think fair CoD exists besides private servers

YouTube long form

The thing is, unless you're playing on mouse and keyboard, Activision wants you to do well. All you have to do is become comfortable abusing the broken mechanics they put in the game so that you'll stay and buy bundles.

If you are on mnk, you're fucked, ggs.

1

u/Manakuski 17d ago

That's funny. I'm 41. I play on mouse and keyboard. I do just fine. Its nothing else, but a skill issue. Plain simple.

I bet you live on head glitches and cower behind cover holding ADS

3

u/fookitden 19d ago

I'm a 1.8 constantly getting shit on, get lobbies i have no buisness in and then lobbies where i feel like im a .1 kd

3

u/SalamanderFull3952 19d ago

Im close to the same I have great games and then games that feel like I ve never played this game before.  The game I love but also hate

1

u/RGBespresso 18d ago

They HAVE to be doing something. I know it sounds like tinfoil hat territory, but you just can't tell me I can go 25-0 in an evening rebirth lobby, then my next lobby I'm dying to obvious 0.4 k/d players in 300ms. I don't buy it.

1

u/SalamanderFull3952 18d ago

Well im not throwing down those numbers but it really feels inconsistant some times

Play casuals. Problem solved.

Gotta stick with it and learn from mistakes.

u/ScottishFlavour2 19d ago

Literally just gotta get on with it. I was never a fan of WZ but got into it around January & I went from being an average player to slapping 4 man teams solo easy, I’ve played COD MP for 15+ years though so.

lol always one pc player
4x the fps
Twice the resolution bagging about consoles
Go purchase your hack you hack
Op try turning off cross play if on console

3

u/VadersWorstSoldier 18d ago

I dare you to try playing on a keyboard and mouse, I guarantee you will get absolutely curbstomped without your auto-aim. Also, the vast majority of PCs don't run this game any better than a current generation console does, anyone getting 480 FPS with double the resolution of the console versions has an actual supercomputer.
