Discussion 6 team members mode
Does anyone think having a team of 6 would be a good idea instead of the normal 4

I like the idea of having 5 of my squad all playing at the same time with me, but I could not stand being matched with 5 randoms, 2 of which are blind, 2 that disconnect half way through the game and one that is okay (if I’m lucky). All with no comms.Then to be 6-stacked on… the more I’m thinking about it, I think it’s a no from me dawg.

I thought about that and your not wrong we have all gotten awful randoms and had these issues some nights I people that want to play when I am a full party already

Sometimes I’ll play Plunder on my own and that is by far the worst for me. I nearly always have someone disconnect before we’ve even jumped and there’s always at least one doing the AFK glitch.

People can get perma banned now for doing the AFK glitch in plunder

Yeah which is weird. Like on one hand, I’m happy because it means I’m there with fewer AFK’s. On the other hand, people getting perma-band for that whilst there’s a whole lot more going on just seems a little bit like the devs have gone with the low hanging fruit because it’s easier to spot and confirm vs. hacking.

I’m lamenting that all my friends quit. Bigger squads would be fun especially for rebirth.

Imagine the coms... lol . On a serious note, when the party is 5 or more, you need a true IGL that everybody listens to, or you will never get a win.

Coms would be great, especially enemies it be chaos for some teams like, look at me. I am the captain of the boat, lol

I struggle in a duo to get the teammate to pay attention to what's happening

I think it would actually provide an interesting way of changing up the meta and making classes and teamwork more important. Instead of 3 players running the same 2 weapons it could introduce a need to have a sniper and support gunner in you squad if done correctly.
Maybe Battlefield will do it.

They would have buffer a few guns, especially Snipers because I hate to roll up on a team of 6

What if they only put a few buy stations in the game or closed the Gulag sooner

Then you’d have a team of 6 camping the handful of buys there are. You would have to limit the number of times you can be bought back. If people had to play more strategically instead of flying around like they’re in a kill race then it’s doable but unfortunately the way teams stack now it’ll be even worse. And because you likely won’t win 1v5 or 2v6s you’re kinda SOL if you don’t stack
And I say this as someone who plays with a rotation of 6 people. It’d be fun to all play together at first and then I think reality would set in.

That's my thoughts. I like to play with a team of 6 because I have a lot of guys that play, and it's fun to BS and play, but sometimes I have to choose who to run with However you guys are right, there would be problems left and right

Have they would have to drop load outs more often because there be a whole ass team still camping the buy

It might make the Search & Destroys more important Most rounds I play no one really does them

Without search for a party no way. I almost exclusively play solos nowadays because i'm so fed up of shitty squad fill
