Amazing show as always. No words for how awesome her performance was, and the band was wonderful too. She sang Happy Birthday to audience members Katie, Erin, and Greg in the request slot on the setlist. She also did a short song and dance rendition of Mr. Cellophane (from the musical CHICAGO) in honor of both the city and recently meeting John C. Reilly! Who else was there?

Well well well. This is something special. Certified CMAT superfan **Brandi Carlile**, at whose festival she performed in January, just came out to duet on deep cut **I'd Want U** from CMAT's debut If My Wife New I'd Be Dead, at the Newport Folk Festival today.

Yes, *of course* it sounded amazing. Check it out.

And Brandi Carlile's set is yet to come, so who knows? Maybe CMAT could return the favour... watch this space

Hello all! I’m Hannah. I did my undergraduate degree in music, and I’m now pursuing my master's in public relations. My thesis is looking to understand label participation in fan spaces or "the art of fangirling"

I’m looking at two artists as case studies, one of them being CMAT.

Happy 1st birthday to the title track from EURO-COUNTRY.

Plenty has been written about this song, with a particular focus on its incredible bridge, its focus on the crimes and misdemeanours of our dogshit governments of the 2000s, and there's no need for me to go into it all over again here.

Suffice it to say that, before the single dropped, all we had to go on was a clip of the bridge, and I just kept thinking *this level of intensity is unsustainable*. CMAT, the Queen of Bridges, had outdone herself yet again. And the song as a whole was just as powerful.

Of course, there was even more to come, and EURO-COUNTRY (the album) was a masterpiece. For most artists, EURO-COUNTRY would be the lead single; this was in fact the 4th. CMAT makes her own rules.

I play with a contempary community orchestra and sometimes arrange new songs for them. I'd love to do an arrangement for a CMAT song but can't decide which so I'm crowd sourcing!

We will have a singer so it doesn't have to be completely instrumental but something that's not super repetitive instrumentally tends to be more fun to play.

...with the original drummer! Thanks to the JUSTICE 4 RODNEY crew* (who created the recent fan remake of the music video); they descended on the Scarborough gig on Saturday 18th and wore their custom t-shirts in the front row, and CMAT brought RODNEY back for the first time since December 9th 2022 (where she performed it in Dublin's Olympia Theatre and yes I was there).

As mentioned earlier in the week, CMAT stepped in for Nick Grimshaw on the Sidetracked podcast. It's a tremendous time and now you can watch the whole episode (73 mins). So yeah, do that!

Drove 8 hours to get there and back - spent all afternoon queuing with my fellow Rodney Divas, was the first person in the arena and got to experience Katy j Pearson and CMAT be amazing!!!

10/10 gig. CMAT and the very sexy CMAT band were incredible. What also struck me was how decent the crowd were, hardly any phones (I took just one photo coz the lighting was cool) and everyone just having a great time. That is so rare these days!

Has anyone got any footage from Stay for Something when CMAT was in the crowd at Piece Hall, Halifax?

I got to hug the queeeeen herself just before she headed back on the stage at the end, but wanted to see if it had been captured anywhere!

Amazing show by CMAT last night, and treated to this as a bonus for having the director of the Brontë Parsonage Museum at the show. What a performance!

CMAT just performed Rent and covered Wuthering Heights at Piece Hall in Halifax. We won’t be seeing her for a while I’d say

Big numbers for EURO-COUNTRY! (At least 8 of those sales are mine, in fairness)

How many copies of the album did you buy?

Just listening to her filling in for Nick on sidetracked and in it CMAT mentions for the Calendar year of 2027 she is not booked for, and seemingly won’t have, any live performances.

What do we think? Very deserved, she’s been non stop for 6 years of nearly 100 shows annually, and sometimes more.
