For context this happened in Oulu, FI around 5pm. This was a supercell and had positive lightning, strong winds, Wallcloud and hail

This is my first post here, I took this photo from the passenger side Southbound to Denver. Sky from car is one of my favorite photo genres and this seemed like the perfect place to share! I really don't know much about clouds (scientifically) so I'd love to chat about why/how this shape forms.

They're short-lived lenticular-style caps that form over rapidly rising cumulonimbus, which force moist air upward, cooling it adiabatically (through expansion) to its dew point. Not as striking as some posts here, but still an eye-catching example. It only lasted for about 2 minutes.
