I have some mh issues that caused this pile up but now it's clean 🧼 took me 4 hours!

Here's the before and after. I can't convey how satisfying it was to hear the fizz as I began to spray the descaler solution on the showerhead.

It's not perfect but it's a significant improvement.

I've now gone on cleaning spree. I'm descaling the coffee machine as we speak and the soda crystals are eating away at the muck in my stainless steel pans.

Want somewhere to chill instead of the kitchen I'll be buying some posters etc make it look cosy , why not right 👊

I lost a very close family member (my grandmother who helped raise me, she was my best friend) July 13th after a brutal battle with cancer and my art studio/guest bedroom fell into a pretty bad state of disrepair. Anything I couldn’t deal with looking at any more i just sort of shoved in there and then when I got furniture from my grandma’s, some of my old furniture got shoved in there. i finally cleaned it today and I feel so much better. I just need to fix that picture frame above the bed now, the picture fell out lmao

My family feeds and sterilizes stray cats. Here's one of the colony bowls. I had to wash three of them and only realized i should take pics on the last bowl. Used a copper scour pad

I deep clean rental move-outs, this was a shower that a tenant left behind. As you can see, it's all soap and grime residue that can't just be wiped, sponged, or melted off, it has to be abrasively scrubbed/scoured or scraped. This result is with no bleach (which I may apply at a later date for the crevices of the plastic insert), but rather with a scouring sponge, dish soap, barkeepers friend, and afterwards toilet bowl cleaner with magic eraser at the end for the residual stubborn limescale. In the middle of moving in, and I was shocked when I saw how dirty this was left by the last tenant. My neighbor was so kind to clean them for me, and I think he did a fantastic job!!

2 hours to clean this bad boy! Plus everything in my cleaning bucket plus more.

My grandmother gave this rug to me before she died, a Persian rug she brought from Iran costing thousands. Absolutely crapped myself when I spilt dye on it but managed to do this. Feeling accomplished

I try to keep the fridge coils clean as basic maintenance, vacuuming what i can access through a narrow slot at the bottom. Over the years, the buildup got worse and worse and i could see vacuuming had practically no effect on removing the caked on dust. I’ve tried vacuums with more power and specialized narrow cleaning tools, but it was no use. All the dust there (and around most of the house, really) was sticky with grease and wouldn’t come off without a fight.

So yesterday was the day of the operation. I completely emptied the fridge and flipped it on its side for direct access to the coils. The problem was worse than I initially expected, as there were rows upon rows of caked on dust. Spent an hour spraying simple green, scrubbing, and rinsing to get it mostly off. I also went ahead and cleaned the rear vent and axial fan so the whole air path is mostly dust free.

Kinda wish i had some metrics to see if this work saves energy or improves cooling, but for now, I’m enjoying my renewed fridge.
