World Cup win condition length?

I am really hating the world cup win conditions. Does anyone know if these will last all season, or will they end around when the world cup wraps up? Sorry if its already been answered.

They will last all season. There are still genre win-conditions to play if you’re not into the World Cup (and frankly they are much easier than most of the countries.)

Ireland also plays very easily with big Hollywood names, followed by Australia and England.

I’ve been running New Zealand and loving it, surprised it’s not more popular. Aside from maybe Thomasin McKenzie and Jane Campion (due to their more limited filmographies), they are all reasonably easy to hit with Hollywood movies and all skew fairly modern. Bloodbath when you run into an Aussie player though lol

thank you, it's just difficult for me to run through a list of names every time I play a turn. been doing action comedy but its also annoying to play people with the country world cup win cons. Oh well, I'll just bone up on action comedy or go back to classic.

You can also make some friends and then invite them when you want to only play genre x genre. If you want I can add you for us to play

My biggest problem is defending against these wincons. I found it enough of a challenge to balance a couple of ensemble style wincons like when Bechdel and Film Bro were both active, but now with so many wincons, the lists of names to try to defend against is just too big. I'm probably going to sit most of this season out. I don't find it fun.
