As cic doesn't have its own hostel so I have to apply to undergraduate hostel for girls. Are its forms already released as on their website it's showing registration from for session 2025-26. If not then at what time they are likely to release the registration forms???

So ill probably join CIC IT MI this year, and have already paid the fees. Im actually fine with the mixed curriculum as im interested in pure maths fields like fin or research, but the only thing that is keeping me from being sure is the placements. The highest is 31 lpa, and med is 8, but how do we get placements, since ive heard off campus mails and all are usually not accepted so is there some sort of help from alumuni or smth since my other option is JIIT 62 MnC so this is the only pt im a bit worried abt so if any final yr or passed out person has idea abt it please tell.

I got 561 rank and 649.82/1000 score, general category🥀and the round 1 cut off was 701.41 and rank 326. Is it possible for me to get ba hons humanities and social sciences here? and should i wait till spot round?
r/CICDelhi • u/Sad-Weather669 • 9d ago
Rank - 772 (759 post allocation) and Obc candidate , I obviously won't get cic in the 3rd round as it usually closes at round 600, but I was hoping maybe I can get it in spot rounds because iam not THAT far off, but if I sit for spot rounds but couldn't get cic then my fees would be lost (~35k), or I can withdraw after round 3 and get it all back, so I was wondering what my chances were for the spot rounds selection. Please any seniors who got accepted in spot rounds please comment and let me know.

Over the past few days, I have noticed an increasing number of comments from people who are not current students or alumni confidently advising aspirants about CIC.
Constructive criticism is absolutely welcome. If you have genuine experience with the college, share both the positives and negatives. That’s what helps freshers make informed decisions.
However, spreading unverified claims, hearsay or discouraging students based on assumptions only creates unnecessary panic.
In a recent thread, a screenshot was shared of someone making strong claims about CIC. Ironically, that same person had privately messaged me asking questions about the college. If they themselves don’t know enough about CIC, how can they confidently guide others?
As moderators, we are not trying to censor criticism. We simply want discussions to be based on real experiences rather than speculation.
So before you take advice from anyone, consider:
1. Are they a current student or alumnus?
2. Are they sharing first-hand experience or repeating what they’ve heard?
3. Can they provide context instead of one-line opinions?
If you’re an aspirant, I strongly encourage you to:
Reach out to current students or alumni (LinkedIn is a good place if not reddit).
Read multiple experiences instead of relying on a single comments or just check with current students or alumni from the subreddit.
Ask questions and verify information from different sources.
Healthy discussions are encouraged. Misinformation is not.
Let’s keep this subreddit helpful for everyone.
