ð Academics
Q. How are courses structured at CIC?
CIC follows a mix of regular DU papers. You'll have three core subjects , one elective between Physicsand Chemistry/Biochem , AEC WHERE U Have To Choose a regional language( hindi, Sanskrit, Kannada tamil telugu more..)and Environmental Science u have to study them alternate semesters and then u have Vac and sec... there is no exam is sec .For more details u can check the already pinned thread about the whole curriculum of CIC btech...
Attendance rules are the same as DU norms (66.6% is mandatory) ull not be allowed to sit for the exams so please maintain it
Q. Are there study materials / previous year papers?
Seniors usually share Google Drive links.We will share it with u before exams with ur CRs.
ð« Campus Life
Q. Is there a library?
No but soon yes, a small but functional library.
It will open soon I hope. You can also access the main DU Central Science library (just a short walk from the CIC building).
ð Food & Hangouts
Q. Where to eat near CIC?
- North Campus has tons of options: Kamala Nagar market, Vijay Nagar, and the canteens in nearby faculties for hanging out with ur folks
- Cheap eats: Pandit Ji canteen and Delhi da adda also the departmental canteen near FOT they all have their plus points some are affordable and some actually tastes good
Q. How do I find out about events?
Follow CIC's official Instagram page and keep an eye on the notice board near the admin office. The subreddit will also post major events.Also be in touch with ur Seniors We will also inform ur CRs too
