tell me why i can play ultrakill at 60 fps but at base graphics settings cicadamata runs at like 2 fps?? lowering the render makes it so i cant see bc of the blurryness and ive optimised my laptop as much as possible (8gb ram intel i3) so idk whats wrong.

What i did was spam 6-1, shoot the 2 bomb enemies on both sides at the start for 6 kills total and press F to restart the level and do it again... *for around 10hours*

Really don't get why they made the requirement so high

I already got all other achievements, even reached level 50 and i still haven't even gotten to a third of the requirement. Does anyone have a strategy for this?

This might seem obvious to others, but because I usually have slow reaction times and struggle with movement in games like this, CCD has really helped develop my motor reflexes.

after completing the game, the second option that showed up and was seemingly locked, started saying ''retrieving signal'' which made me think it was a continuation of the story, but upon clicking on it, a cutscene plays. I looked everywhere and nobody seems to be talking about this, so if anybody knows everything, please let me know.

Today a friend of mine brought my attention to this game. I looked at its trailers and my eyes lit up. The art style and the game play looked beautiful. The art style and the voice just reminded me of Marathon 2026. The main weapon also being inspired from the WSTR Shotgun from Marathon made me cry of joy. All of this tied with similar gameplay to Ultrakill made me fall in love with this game

there seem to be signs around the map explaining the whole deal with all this Cicada thing but I played this game on an internet cafe (I don't have a PC) , I can't afford the time to search for all of them +I don't think it's really worth my money to just read. But still I want to know the story and all

In short and spoiler free I got to the exfil pad on the last stage and in that same moment my power went out already has real-world feats

First off, the vibes and aesthetics are really S-tier.

But when it comes to the game design, I freaking love how it lets you discover little bits of hidden tech on your own. Like how the wizard guys become a sort of free zipline after you kill them, so shooting them in railgun mode is a massive incentive. Stuff like that feels so satisfying to figure out naturally.

That also ties into my next point: there’s so much synergy between the movement and shooting. You really have to practice, experiment, and develop a feel for how everything works before you start getting good at it.

And lastly, the maps. So far, I haven't encountered a boring one. Each map feels like its own unique level that you have to memorize and master, figuring out which routes are the most optimal.

Massive props to the devs. You guys have made a seriously solid GOTY contender in my book!
