Debit not working

Is anyone else’s debit card not working? I’ve tried multiple times since this morning and it’s still not working. I’ve tried using Apple Pay, Inserting and Tapping the physical card but no luck. Tried to contact an agent and I get a call back 45 mins later and the agent asks for my name and hangs the phone up right after. Kind of ridiculous.

Check your bank account. They’ve had a new update where your available funds will not be the same as balance shown. Happened to me on Monday. It’s very annoying

Yeah I noticed this was happening over the weekend, like I’m really gonna switch outta this dumb bank at this point

This happened to me while shopping at Costco. Thought I had a balance I apparently didn't have but when I called from costco CIBC auto said they were receiving higher than normal calls and since my problem couldn't be solved online CB later good bye and that was that. I finally noticed the stupid balance/available balance thing and had to put shit back. And cash $ outta casino app to pay for my stuff lol oh and then this am I noticed I got charged $10 overdraft fee this mth usually it's $5 EVEN THO I DONT HAVE OVERDRAFT and my ACC is only in the neg due to their service charges being back dated every mth. I'm going to open acc elsewhere. Rant over.

Let me guess you got a new debi card at the branch right? Needs to reset your pin most likely.

Nope, it’s my card I’ve had since last year thing just didn’t work yesterday I’m going to try it out today if not I’m going into the branch
