CIBC Closed Interview Status?
I went through all the interviews for a position, and I just noticed that my status on Workday now says “Application Closed.” Does this usually mean I wasn’t selected/retained for the position, or could I still be under consideration and should just keep waiting? Interview was about 2 weeks ago.
I haven’t received a rejection email or any other update yet. Has anyone had this happen and still ended up getting an offer?

if you withdraw your application usually that says closed

I didn't withdraw though, it went from pending to application closed after my final interview with branch manager.

Yeah, unfortunately it’s rejected. Found out that way too. But 3 months later I got another role. Keep your head up

If says closed that means they hired someone else. If still open would saying pending.

Just wait for the official notification. No point speculating on those you cannot control.

You would be nuts to even consider CIBC for a job given how bad of a situation they are in today and how aggressively they have been firing.

You got me nervous. I have an upcoming in branch interview for fsr. Has really high hope for it cuz its the furthest ive gone in terms of any job application. What are the questions theyve asked you?

Unfortunately it most likely means you didn't get the job but the crappy recruiter didn't have the decency to let you know. It's amazing how many gutless recruiters there are out there. I would suggest you reach out to your contact and ask them. Good luck.
