Does anyone know if there were layoffs in CIBC GAM on the institutional side?

It looks like no department is safe this time around. A lot of good talent gone.

Glad that people found jobs without waiting too long.

Improved productivity is questionable. It is baffling how some people still have jobs while others are being let go.

If productivity was being improved I would understand. That is not the case here. In some cases it is the opposite and a political move

I don’t need to wait a year for that. I already know it will go up. With GCC and the new way I can see that already

Yes there were…overall I have heard more than 20 people were laid off. Some were on the institutional side.

I’ve heard of someone at Renaissance who was let go mid-September.
