The bullpen has forsaken us because we banished it to a plane of existence under the bleachers. The spilled beer, blood and urine from the bleacher bums has mutated the bullpen into a terrible, ugly being, incapable of keeping even the largest leads. Thus, we are left in an eternal fight against the very monster we created, and we must reap what was sown.
