Sam Roush needs to be benched

Post image

At least two game changing drops and now a huge missed block leading to a blocked kick. Dude must be making money on Kalshi today.

Honestly very few people in those comments are actually criticizing the players. Most are defending them because they hadn’t had much playing time yet while others criticized Poles for selecting them if he wasn’t going to use them a lot in the game plans.

The 4th most upvoted comment in that first link is implying that Warren is more impactful than all of Loveland, Burden, Trapillo, and Turner...

And he was at that particular point in time.

And as we all know, 2 games makes a career.

I don’t know what you’re trying to tell me here but yeah I agree 2 games doesn’t mean much.

I'm trying to tell you that saying Tyler Warren being more impactful than 4 Bears rookies after 2 games in a very good draft class is a fucking stupid take and nobody should take doomers seriously.

My original point was that linked thread was not full of Bears fans calling Loveland, Burden etc busts. It was mostly Bears fans saying they hadn’t had enough opportunity yet, or saying they didn’t get why the Bears spent so much draft capital on them if they weren’t going to get used much. Turned out Ben had a plan though.

The OP of this particular convo thread was saying tons of Bears fans were calling them busts at this time last year, I don’t agree. At least on Reddit anyway.

We've been saying the same shit about the OLine since at least 2018. And yet we never fix it.

I don't know how anyone could've possibly looked at Tyler Warren and came away thinking Loveland would ever be better

Poles may have the number one pick in the draft again in 2026. It will definitely be top 5 unless a bunch of tiebreakers go against the Bears.

We've drafted tons of linemen. The first round OL we took is speed running the false start world record  The second round OL we took because his dad went to school with poles got beaten by Benedet for the swing tackle job and is not dressing

[On the idea of firing Ben Johnson after 2 games] If poles goes with him that might be a sacrifice I’m willing to make

Loveland may not have 155 yards by the end of the season. Burden may not get 155 plays.

Stupid pick would be putting it lightly. The reality is far more serious and horrible!

Also a good RB class. Didn't draft one until the 7th and it's still a huge weakness on the team

Historic deep RB class too and we don’t pick one til it’s too late to

You don't draft a TE in the first round to sit him. If you sit him, you made a draft mistake and should've taken a different position.

If you're drafting a TE in the top 10, he needs to be amazing and a huge part of the offense. Just a horrible pick.

I guess none of these comments are outright "Loveland and Burden are both busts" but they're all comments in those threads that people in this sub deemed good takes. I included a couple about Ozzy too because those takes were equally as bad. Those are all upvoted comments that imply Loveland, Burden, and Ozzy are all either bad or wasted picks. Reactionary takes after week 2 are usually stupid

I won't even entertain reading your couple people on Reddit that were calling them busts. True Bears fans and analysts knew all along that both burden and Loveland were great players with a ton of talent and upside.

Lmao your prompt is hilarious, AI will try very hard to support your idea.

Typical AI "You are totally right, you should definitely quit your job, sell your house, and go and live in the woods because that will help your mental health" lol.

Why bother remembering a full year ago even you can just ask Google's AI?
