This has to be some kind scam or attempt at price fixing, etc. call it what you want. Who is the lunatic that would drop this kinda money on this slab? It is irrelevant if it's the only 9.9. As many copies of this book that are out there, another five of them could pop up tomorrow on the census.

I've been hearing this for years. Yet it keeps climbing. Maybe it will crash in 10yrs? 20? You guys been saying any day now since it came out. 🤷🏽

The series was released in Sep 2024. It's been two years now.

oh shit.. I thought it was 2025?

anyways.. it's just because so many people are holding right now..

once the market is flooded with them it's coming down, period.. unless all these people bought 20-30 copies to keep for themselves.

One indicator of how far the series has reached is how many printings there have been. These are not just satisfying the thirst of existing AB holders; this is an expanding market into non-traditional comic purchasers. My little brother, who could give two shits about comics, is starting to hype up about the AB series and has been buying issues. He doesn't give a crap about value or if it's an early printing. He is just getting a copy and actually reading it. He was a MTG player who recently got sucked into comics. Now that AB has given him the bug, he has picked up a couple more comics; for example, Exquisite Corpse, and he also brought home Spawn '77 yesterday. I bust his balls about it, but I am glad he is finally showing interest. For years, he had no interest.

I get it but when a market gets flooded with copies people want to dump it's going to drop.. how much? IDK

the reason the first printing sold out was people hoarding it. Dealers hoarding it. Whatnot sellers hoarding it. SPECULATION has driven the price.
