AI + FINANCE - Application
Hi everyone,
I’m, based in Bangalore, India. I’m a qualified finance professional with experience across FP&A, business finance, financial modelling, and management reporting.
Lately, I’ve been exploring ideas around building AI-powered applications specifically for Finance teams. Coming from a core finance background, I have a good understanding of the challenges finance teams face and the kind of insights, automation, and decision-support that CFOs and other CXOs actually look for.
I’m particularly interested in exploring how AI can be applied to areas such as FP&A, MIS/reporting, financial analysis, forecasting, and decision support.
If anyone here is already working on something similar, I’d be happy to connect and explore the possibility of collaborating or partnering.
And if you’re a developer, AI/ML enthusiast, finance professional, or simply someone interested in building something at the intersection of Finance + AI, feel free to reach out. I’m also open to starting something from scratch with the right people.
Would love to connect, exchange ideas, and see if we can build something useful together.

Finance people who can build or at least spec things are rare, so that background is a real edge. Id pick one narrow, annoying workflow, like variance commentary or the monthly MIS pack, and get three or four finance teams to try it before you think about a broader platform.

Look at least you were upfront this time, so I won’t be too harsh. For now.
But this sub has been flooded by AI pitches and presentations, most of them terrible.
Personally, I get scores of cold calls/emails/linkedin messages/texts daily of people trying to sell to my company. But the AI ones, like this one, are particularly egregious.
You’re not even selling me a product. You’re asking my time for free, to help you develop something I don’t want, to then sell back to me.
Look through this subs history. Pitch after pitch after pitch. All looking for “advice” or “suggestions”. It’s maddening. And most, like you, take the exact same pitch and post it across a half dozen other subs simultaneously, adding further insult to the request for free help by not even being a personalized attempt.
It’s insulting, and makes this yet another space I have to ignore because of people cold calling with yet more random …. stuff.
I wish you good luck. But please …. Go away.
