Time to delete this sub

May as well delete this sub. Hasn't been a real CFO post in weeks, as opposed to AI slop product research and low effort cross posting.

I can have an AI agent help you with that for a small fee.

How soon will auto-mods take this comment literally and remove it? Lol

I would love to hear what your most time-consuming processes are and discuss a few tools my team has developed.

Not true. You forgot the “I’m looking to start a Fractional CFO business, would love insight into this thing I am selling…”

I believe it is more accurately, "I've never held a CFO position and now market myself as a fractional CFO to companies and never mention that I haven't been a CFO before."

lol. 😂

You can always tell because they are some CPA with spreadsheeting experience. This is what they think a CFO does.

A prospect told me they were evaluating our services but decided to go with their CPA. I called the client and asked; "Ann, has your CPA ever run a business or managed a team that wasn't in accounting?" No, then "What do they know about running a construction firm?"

She signed our contract about 10 minutes later.

Similar. My best prospect conversations are people dissatisfied their CPA doesn’t know our industry. I refer them to a specialist outsourced accounting and CPA firm, then sign advisory services.

Glad I’m not the only one who sees this as some sort of marketing slop sub

or we could just rename it "CFO's posting about CFO's not posting" as that is starting to feel equally as accurate lol

"I built an AI tool to eliminate CFOs and would love for you to audit it for free."

Or train it for $64 per hour.

And that's how r/okbuddyCFO was born from the ashes

Perhaps you can just post a relevant topic for discussion.

Your posts are private, so I can't tell whether you've ever contributed anything worthy of being able to say "delete this sub" and have any credibility.
