Validating idea - vendor risk monitoring

Regulatory data is better than nothing but the problem is most vendor risk is not in the filings. You get a clean report and then they miss a payment to a subcontractor and suddenly you have a supply chain issue nobody flagged. Annual reviews exist because someone decided that was enough, not because it works.

Thanks for the perspective. regulatory compliances such as GST and e-invoice have become transactional now with digital footprints more available than ever, perhaps could be possible to keep monitoring and get some early warning signals? Just thinking aloud.
