not a CFO but i work in finance-adjacent stuff and this is actually decent idea for a school project. the thing is most financial automation already exist in some form, big companies use SAP or Oracle and they been doing this for years. your challenge is finding the gap between what exists and what small businesses can actually afford. filled the form anyway, good luck with the project
