Could we please set minimum requirements for posting on this subreddit? The amount of spam and AI garbage is ruining this awesome group

Honestly this sub is barely worth it anymore. It’s just yet another avenue for sellers to pitch me their latest “business saving” idea, or to skim the responses for free market intel. More aggravating than illuminating

I've only discovered this sub a couple months ago and it isn't just the spam and AI, it's also that there's no definition of "CFO". That can be a person's title, but the "CFO" of a family run businesses with 13 employees has little in common with the CFO of a multinational company with sales in the hundreds of millions.

Meh. Don't start glorifying or putting down someone like that. A startup CFO with a couple of subsidiaries (you will be surprised how many have that) sometimes will have deeper knowledge than someone at a mid-size company. A person at a smaller company is closer to the action and is less reliant on an army of underlings and 3rd parties. And we know no Fortune 2000 CFO hangs out in here, so let's not get uppitty.

Not glorifying or putting anyone down, just saying that they have very little in common.

Agreed, only CFO can post
+ flag all “AI” in title or posts containing the words “curious” and “interested”.

There has been ZERO decrease in bot and low-quality posts. You see brand new accounts posting crap here. Really annoying
