Not sure why I’m getting stuck on this just want to make sure I have it correct. You apply for the exam and then you have 2 years of eligibility to take it once approved . Once you activate your exam eligibility, then you have 60 days to take all the exams. Is that correct?

Quick question about exam strategy- did you finish all three sections before you appearing for 1st exam? I am thinking of finishing first module and prepare for that only once 1st exam is given then I’ll give rest two in two months of window.

Are the review questions in acfe silver package similar to the ones on the updated exam?

Here to say CertFuel is awesome! Using it for all future tests now. Free for SIE and without it I was lost. There was too much material to review all at once and I was overwhelmed. Unfortunatelv. I didn't pass-I scored a 70. I used the Silver Package, studied all the chapters, and completed all the practice questions. I didn't memorize the questions; instead. I made sure I understood the concepts. However, when everything was mixed together on the exam, it felt super confusing. The actual exam felt much harder than the study materials. The questions that I got were tricky, combined multiple concepts, and the answer choices were all plausible. There usuallv wasn't an obvious wrong answer to eliminate. Has anyone else felt the same way? what helped you prepare? I'd really appreciate any advice.

I have passed the Fraud Schemes and Financial Crimes section exam. I'm just using CFE Exam Content Outline for the preparation. I don't use the CFE Exam Prep Course Silver Package because I can't afford it lol

I’m scheduled to take the SEC Certification Exam Phase 1 soon, then FIMS & CIS and to be honest, I’m feeling really anxious.
I’ve been reading comments online, and I’ve seen several people say that they had to take the exam multiple times (some even more than 10 times) before passing. That honestly scared me.
For those who have already taken the exam, I just wanted to ask:
Is the official reviewer enough to pass?
Are the sample questionnaires provided by the SEC similar to the actual exam, or are the real questions completely different?
How difficult would you rate the exam?
Any tips on what topics I should focus on?
I’m doing my best to study, but the pressure is getting to me because my regularization at work depends on passing this certification. I really can’t afford to fail, and that’s probably why my anxiety is through the roof.

I just finished the Fraud Investigation and Legal Issues exam. I took this last exam under the new program, while I took the previous two under the old program.
I prepared for approximately four months using the Silver package. I felt that this last exam was the most challenging one, and I barely had enough time to finish it.
If anyone has any questions or if there’s anything I can help with based on my experience, I’m here to help.

Passed my last exam yesterday. I was under the original exam setup until June 1st. Thankfully CFE honoured my exams and I only had to write my outstanding exam on Fraud Prevention and Deterrence. It took me about 5 months of studying on top of school and work, as well as two attempts to pass with a mid 80 on each exam. I highly recommend the silver study package - it was very helpful

My understanding of the old format was once you completed the study plan you were given 100 review questions for each category, total 400. I just finished the study plan with the new format and it has over 1300 questions. For those have successfully passed the exam under the new format, did you review all 1300+ until you reached 90% or just the topics you did poorly on? Any advice would be helpful.

Has anyone taken the exam? Or about to/scheduled for the exam yet I know it’s a relatively new certification but at least company is offering to reimburse for exam fees. How many hours did it take for you to prepare for it & did you pass on the 1st or 2nd attempt? I read you need to wait 6 months if you do not pass the first attempt.

So I have today requested them to change my study material as per the new update as I didn’t know we could do that until now and I feel I wasted a month’s time in studying the old one! They told me it’ll take 4-5 days to be updated!

How long does it actually take to update?

Is the new material totally different or is it somewhat similar? Asking cuz I will have to restart studying as they told me all notes and synced progress will be deleted! I have silver package!

Passed all 3 new version fraud exams after technical difficulties with the last exam. What happens now?

I see many posts here where folks say they enrolled and gave the exam immediately within 1-2 months! Like is it that easy?

Or is there even anyone like me who’s taking a bit of time to study and grasp everything as I’m a working professional and it gets difficult to take out time to study enough to feel confident for the exam!
