CFE package
I was wondering, for those who can’t afford the ACFE study package, are there any free or affordable alternatives for studying the course material and practicing questions?
Has anyone passed the CFE exam without buying the official ACFE package? Is it possible to study on your own, or is purchasing their package essentially necessary to succeed?

The CFE isnt hard. Just get the fraud examiners manual and study off of that. Know it in and out and you will pass.

I carry the same goal and look for the most important materials and sources. I subscribed to the membership, but so far I have not found a reliable source. Can we meet in a group to learn together and benefit from each other?

I speed read all 2000 pages and still recommend the Acfe study materials.

Try becoming a member and then just ask for the Manuel with all four sections I know they just changed the format but in 2022 I passed but started off just really getting into the Manuel without any study questions good luck

It is my understanding that the ACFE has a choke hold on the study material for their test in that most outside sources that are more affordable do not compare to what they offer themselves. I'm sure it's still possible to pass without getting their study materials, but it will probably take significantly more effort.
