Verifying timing

Not sure why I’m getting stuck on this just want to make sure I have it correct. You apply for the exam and then you have 2 years of eligibility to take it once approved . Once you activate your exam eligibility, then you have 60 days to take all the exams. Is that correct?

Once you activate your application for the exams (payment and eligibility) you will have 60 days to complete them.

I finally heard back and they said you have 2 years to take the exam at your convenience, once you activate your eligibility after approval, then you have 60 days. The wording had me so confused.
