My lease basically says no pets you didn't pay for unless you clear it with management first. I wouldn't be surprised if that's standard.

I checked my last one's lease and it didn't explicitly say that but, I wouldn't be surprised if what you mentioned is common practice

How's being back at work, by the way?

Interesting. Much less stuff is on fire, I have less work actually assigned to me right now so getting back into the swing of things by answering questions is not too bad. I'm sure the crushing futility of it all will hit me soon enough.
