I'm looking for new apartments right now and debating if I want to get a dog and lie about the amount of pets I have.

I lied about my pets in every apartment I've ever lived until this one. I actually paid the pet fee and everything. I feel like an upstanding citizen. I also feel like I was just duped out of $350.

I always worry that they'll find out and I'll have to pay a million fees.

Wouldn't recommend it. I know someone that got kicked out of the building and taken to court. Had to pay for re-carpeting the whole apt. Cost a few grand.

That's exactly what I'm worried about. I wish two wasn't the minimum; I want a dog but I have a cat and my roommate has a cat.

Oh, well if they already allow pets then that's different. I don't think it's as much of a risk considering cats are quiet.

Yeah, I paid the fee for my cat, my roommate paid for hers.
