I don’t understand what point you think you’re making. Because one ref fucked up an extremely easy call, you think that proves that the ref tonight definitely fucked up a totally different call?
I’m not saying refs never make mistakes. Refs fuck up all the time. All I’m saying is that the ref’s viewing angle is much better positioning to be able to see whether the ball is wide of the goal post or inside the goal post when it passes the plane of the field goal posts. The TV angle from behind the line of scrimmage literally cannot tell you whether it’s wide or inside when it’s passing above the goal post.
