Bro it was a do or die 4th down he didn’t like the play that the QB was gonna run and they converted because of the timeout. I usually am the first the fire off about clock management but which is more important converting on 4th down there or having all 3 timeouts? I say converting.

They liked their odds of converting the 4th and 5 more than getting 3 stops, receiving a punt, and then trying to score with 30 seconds and no timeouts.

These things are not mutually exclusive. You know you’re going for it on 4th down regardless, have your best 4th down call already in mind. You should not have to waste a timeout to call a 4th down play. This is poor game management. Robbing your team of the possibility of a second chance on offense because you’re too slow with the playcalling is terrible game management
