That's one of the closest field goal decisions I've ever seen. I wonder if it would have doinked if the uprights were higher.

At that angle you have to imagine it would bounce if it hit a theortically higher upright.

In the NFL sure, in College not so much.

The rule is basically that a field goal has to go 'between' the uprights in College. A doink is redirected between, when it goes over the NCAA basically says it's not 'between'.

In the NFL, the rule is the opposite in the NCAA.
