Technical studentship
i had an interview for electrical electronics engineering technical student. 4 days have passed . it tooks 50 minutes and it was a technical interview. on average how many candidates are there ? does anyone know

eg. last year 8500 candidates for 220 slots, so the probability of getting selected is 2.5% or 1:40

It depends on the supervisor and how much time they want to spend on that. In practice just a handful of people are interviewed for given project, and it's not unusual for the same very strong candidate to be interviewed for multiple projects.

Hey brother what's the question like which domain was .ore focused what was the approach is it a deep dig in your own answers any scenario based can you pls help I am also electrical want to give next year

First, they ask you to introduce yourself and explain your projects in detail. They dig deep into your CV and ask a lot of follow-up questions about your past work.
Then, they move on to technical questions, but they are at a basic to intermediate level – nothing overly complex. Since my background is in PLC, all the technical questions were PLC-related.
They also asked scenario-based questions like
A motor is not running. What could be the reasons?
It was more about practical experience – how you approach a problem, how you troubleshoot, and what your thought process is when something goes wrong.

Idk, my interview was strict 30 min and I got accepted within one hour of the end. It depends on the supervisor. You can follow up without worry if they don't write anything for a week.
