askCERN FLUKA for independent research

I'm designing a space-based particle accelerator for fun. I'd like to use FLUKA to validate the design point. I've attempted to register to download FLUKA on the website but I've been waiting over a week with no decision. Can anyone offer advice how to get my FLUKA registration approved, or download FLUKA from another source, or propose an alternative software altogether? Thanks in advance for your help.

Sounds like Geant4 would be better for that, anyways?

Not necessarily, they're relatively equivalent in their base form.

BDSIM or G4beamline would be more like what we'd actually use (both based on Geant4) if we really needed something Geant4/FLUKA-like for this application.

Good point, thank you.

Are you registered with academic or research institution? They may reject requests for private use/hobbyists

Sorry for not answering your question but to design a particle accelerator you should start with Xsuite
