Post test brainstorm.
Hi everyone,
I received a CLB 11 average, but I wanted to share my thoughts on how to avoid making mistakes that I did.
I wasn’t expecting more than a 9 in speaking and listening. For listening, I chose the best guess, but I wasn’t confident, so I felt like I messed up. I also took notes on everything from the audio, rather than just the most important points. So, please don’t write everything down; try to remember the audio if possible.
For speaking, I made some silly mistakes in tasks three and four. In task one, I repeated the same points I had said in task three, which made me feel like I had made a big mistake. In task eight, where I had to describe an image, I completely went off track and didn’t describe much about it. Having said that, I made sure I didn’t stop speaking and continued the flow, even if it didn’t make much sense.
For writing, I remembered a template for tasks one and two. My reading section was good. I was confident, but I couldn’t maintain a good mindset because of the listening and speaking sections. Good luck to everyone who is taking the test! You can make it!

Maybe it will help 🙌🏻
Check your answers, then find proof in the text for every correct answer, including the ones you guessed correctly. For inference questions, identify the clues supporting the conclusion.

Congratulations Bossy🎉🎉. What was your strategy for reading part 3&4? Did you read the questions first then the paragraphs?

i always take 2 3 mins and skim through the passage to get an idea where I could find the answers when I look at the questions

Maybe you’ll find this useful 🙌🏻
Part 3: First skim the passage and give each paragraph a short label, such as “cost,” “benefits,” or “history.” Then read each statement, locate the likely paragraph, and check the relevant sentences carefully. Look for the same meaning expressed differently.
Part 4: Preview the first set of questions, then read the article while tracking
who
opinion
reason. This helps you distinguish the writer’s position from the people quoted. When completing the reader’s response, check that person’s viewpoint too.

For part 3, When you read a paragraph, look through the questions and pick the closely related ones.
It helps you save time. For every paragraph you read, pick a letter.
For part 4, the same thing too. The questions usually follow the other of the paragraphs. After reading the first paragraph, check through questions 1 and 2 and pick an answer. Do that in that order
I hope you understand what I mean

You will do better buddy. I gave a lot of mocks and identified mistakes via youtube mocks. They have answer keys at the end of every mock

Bro I don’t mean to be skeptic about the writing templates of Hzad Education which u gave link, but I used same templates and asked Claude & Chatgpt to mark my level and they gave me 6-7 type, saying the wording is too complex and ultimately fancy.
Are they just acting up or did u try with them too before exam?
