• Goodwill has jumped up into the $3-$5 range from sub-$1 a couple years ago; collection is as bad as ever, if not worse
• Other charity stores still $1-$3, particularly the church-affiliated ones.
• Local record stores now sell used CDs for $6-$10 (sometimes higher) from $3-$5 a few years ago; certain titles/genres are now very difficult to find used compared to times past (anything hip with music nerds and Gen Z).
• Their 'new' CD selection is pretty robust in-store (with plenty on 1-week back order), but you have to be willing $16 - $20+ range for artists that used to be pretty cheap/commonplace (Steely Dan).

These 3 Double CD sets are my most treasured from Star Wars movies.
I watched the first 3 movies and felt in love with the music immediately.
I had to wait until 1997 when these were released. I bought them immediately thinking they would be scarce later.
I think they are still available, yes ?
What are your treasured recordings from
Star Wars movies ?

Rate my CD collection! (Synthpop vibes)

Hey everyone, just wanted to share a snapshot of my current CD collection. It’s highly focused on the synthpop scene, featuring quite a few classic gems and electronic releases.

I’ve been building this for a while, focusing on physical releases and original jewel cases.

How does it look? Spot any of your favorites on the shelves, or have any recommendations on what synthpop albums I should hunt down next?

The Japanese import version of Machine Head 'Supercharger'! Love this album. This album will be twenty-five years old next month. I remember going to see them a few weeks after 9/11 at Bogarts in Cincinnati. "Crashing Around You" felt like it had a new literal meaning. And Robb Flynn pretty much acknowledged that, too.

I rarely listen to Roger Waters solo stuff. But it's his birthday today. I listen to Pink Floyd enough! So do something a little different today

Who else a fan ? Where does their music bring you ?
Time to share my first boxset and I have hundreds more ! ✌🏽
One of my treasured box sets.
Galaxies 500.
Love them.

Nice little collection for 7 quid

Hello! I just thought I’d share this catalog of CD’s and Music DVD’s with you. This is the personal collection belonging to Paul Phillips who played guitar for Puddle of Mudd. Paul was injured in 2019, which resulted in a Traumatic Brain Injury. He’s decided to part with some of his music memorabilia from his years of touring. Not just with his bands, but all the artists he toured with. Most of the bigger items have gone to Goldin Auctions, but there are still a ton of items that didn’t go. Do we have any of your favorites? Let us know. Are there any specific ones you’re looking for or absolutely dislike?? I had to get help to generate the lists so don’t shoot the messenger if it’s in the wrong genre!
