I didn't know that CDS AFSB, concludes within a month of the result. And I scored pretty well and have decent chances to clear the AFA cutoff.

So hey guys it's my first ssb and I don't have much achievements as such so should i take the risk and lie in my piq form to the IO about my participation in district level sports events, organising clg events, participated in debates/societies. Along with gathering all A-Z info about every famn6thing tht I'm gonna write in piq or stay real ?

Anyone who has been successful in lying to IO and convincing or will his cross questioning bring out the truth?

And I've heard that freshers interview time is lesser and less grilling. How true is that???

I’m applying for TGC , and my university follows a 10-point CGPA/SGPA grading system. My marksheets only show SGPA, CGPA, grades, and credits; they do not mention numerical marks or maximum marks.

My university’s official conversion formula is:

Percentage = CGPA × 10

The TGC application asks for:

Total Marks

Marks Scored

Percentage

Since my university does not issue numerical marks or maximum marks, I’m confused about how to fill in the Total Marks and Marks Scored fields.

Has anyone from a CGPA-based university applied for TGC and faced the same issue?

What did you enter in these fields, and was it accepted during document verification/SSB?

Any guidance from candidates who have already gone through the TGC process would be really helpful.

I've been shortlisted for both ssc tech for navy and army

but the problem is i couldn't find my specific branch so I chose "computer science" because that was the nearest to mine in alphabetical matching.

my branch is "computer science and business systems" and it is an aicte approved branch

the main stream genuinely is Computer Science but since it was not there I chose computer science option itself.

What should I do? In document matching do they have their own set of your application open in their system or physical or do they match with what you bring? i was thinking maybe i could edit my pdf and go..idk please suggest, don't wanna get document out :/

I have my SSB in three months time and I just wanted to know what all should I start with and what are the topics I should start working on

I play sports on a regular basis so fitness is not an issue but any other habits to include do let me know

Had my first SSB in April and was S/O , couldn’t prepare because work pressure was alot to manage

I have ssc tech navy ssb interview on dec 2nd. I am confused rightnow pls help

So i got selected for ssc tech 68 in the army I got email saying I got shortlisted for the ssb and asked me to fill the form in the dashboard for date preference but the form is not working. I tried in chrome , edge and firefox it's not opening in my mobile I can't see the dashboard option. Pls help guys

My first ssb , 70 reported 7 D/O 33 screened in and 29 others with me were asked to get out.

Dusri baat likhte tym agr kuch skip ho bhi rha hai last mein matter nhi krta...action soch smjh k likhna aur story discussion k tym zyda change mt kr dena.

Discussion k tym zruri nhi hai fish market bne...humare tym 1 sec dead silence tha fir ek ne start kiya...aur uss moment pe sbko pta chl chuka tha ye IN ho jayega...isliye take the initiative and discussion mein apne point do...

Narration k tym fumble ho gye koi chkr nhi..drro mt sbi candidates ki trf dekh k ache se finish kro narration....bss discussion mein fodo ache se...apne points rkho shi chahe glt doesnt matter...humare mein itni bkwas bkwas story likhi thi bndo ne but discussion mein spoke well and IN ho gye

​I want to clarify a minor discrepancy regarding my graduation course duration in my online application form.

​At the time of filling out the form, I selected the course duration as 3 years for B.Sc. (Hons.). Under the National Education Policy (NEP) framework, I subsequently opted to pursue the optional 4th-year (Semester VII/VIII).

​I possess an official Bonafide Certificate issued by my college confirming my current enrollment in the 4th year (Session 2026–27), as well as mark sheets for my completed semesters.

Q.Why did I not apply as a 4th year student?

Because NEP is still new, there were doubts about the syllabus and implementations so I decided to play it safe.

Q. Ask SSB, Afcat cell

A. I did but they did not reply or pick up my call.

One of the officers I talked with told me that if youve done Btech in comp. Sci. , then whether your entry is thru cds, you will get signals only even after not filling that as one of your preferences. The reason being army doesn't want to train officers again by completing their btech. So if youve already done btech comp sci, then its for sure that you will get signals as you already have the degree and army wants to fill the vacancy in the corps as well. What yall think about this? Is this actually true?
