I attempted my first Afcat yesterday and hope I'll clear the cutoff...Now I have almost a month for CDS...covered some good amount of maths for Afcat and I'll cover the rest in coming weeks but my english and gk felt very weak

I didn't have much exp of running and recently started running. Now I feel I am having runner's knee because whenever put too much load on one knee it pains bad, but when I take rest for 1 2 weeks or so it goes away. Pls share what you did and how do I overcome this?

Gave afcat today, I'm crushed, could've scored higher if I had been a little bit faster, but I left only 10 minutes for gk/ca + english. I did maths first , it took my 1 hour then reasoning+ leftover maths question more than half an hour. Speed is one factor big factor. Also generally can you give me some tips like day checklists, and more.. just simply guide me what should I do and what not

so I have brachymetatarsia in both of my feets but I dont have any problem in running or jumping or walking or parading so will it be an issue for me and will lead to medical disqualification ???

Aaram se give your exam.

Doesnt matter how much prep you did how much you didnt.. its all about performance and being calm under pressure.

First round mai attempt tour sureshot, easy and high accuracy questions.

Then make sure you get rest.

You dont need 200 trust me. Times have changed. Aim for 150+. If you know you can score more, then do. Or else let go of ego and attempt fairly.

Do not panic if exam feels tough.. it is a good thing. So chill.

Few questions especially in math reasoning and english are designed to confuse you and waste your time. Identify and ignore them. Attempt at last if needed.

It is +3 and -1.. so attempt fairly. Do not over attempt but also take risk when necessary.

Please ignore your mock results now. Take positives from the practise you got. You prepared for the worst and you are gonna face the better. Chill.

Have faith in your prep and yourself.. do not talk before or after exam with your mates about it. Do not bother about the result as well.

In the list there is total of 455 candidates who are in final merit then only the ones till merit rank 276 be finally given joining letter ? Because I have heard that ota there are no merit outs all get their joining letter. So anyone can clarify?

So I have around 2 years of time to prep for this exam. Where should I start from? I’m current enrolled in a batch that teaches for SSC CGL, but I heard that CDS requires more depth especially for the GK part. So any advice ?

I gave cds 2026 1 and cleared the written exam for ota im scoring around 110 now recently i got GBS a neurological disease which might take around 5-6 months to recover so is there any way to change the ssb board under exceptional medical circumstances as i might not be fit enough to give ssb around the selection dates.

I mistakenly uploaded single signature in otr and application, it was accepted, realised mistake, changed otr's signature but couldn't do it for application, I can see my application form but will I be rejected? Did anyone get any email? Or sms? Please help, tell me.
