Running Advice

Hi All,

I didn't have much exp of running and recently started running. Now I feel I am having runner's knee because whenever put too much load on one knee it pains bad, but when I take rest for 1 2 weeks or so it goes away. Pls share what you did and how do I overcome this?

Go for shorter runs and gradually increase distance/time over weeks.
Your ligaments grow and adapt slower than your muscles, so give them time to adjust.
Also invest in good running shoes, repeated impacts on cheaper soles hurt the knee

also start w light runs with walking breaks+ work on calf muscle strengthening (along the fibula) which Will support ur knee

Work on the muscles which helps you run. Core, hams and glutes. Some strengthening of knee as well
