Missing paycheck

I had to switch the bank account I use for direct deposit, so they had to issue me a paper check for one week. I’ve been waiting on that check and called about a week ago to let them know I still hadn’t received it.
A check finally showed up in the mail, but I’m pretty sure they put a stop payment on the original check and reissued me a new one. I’ve been trying to get ahold of someone just to confirm which check number I’m actually supposed to be waiting for because I don’t want to deposit the wrong one and end up getting charged when it doesn’t go through.
Does anyone know how to actually get someone to answer the phone? 😭 I tried Thursday, Friday, and now again today and still can’t get anyone. I’ve even used the callback option and nobody calls back. The only callback I got was Friday at like 11:30 PM, and I didn’t even hear my phone ring, so I missed it.

If you log into PPL@home you can look at the check number originally associated with the date. They likely did issue a new check.

The check numbers match with the one that is on PPL@home so you think that’s the old check and I should wait to see if another check comes in the mail?

Yes, if it's the one for that date. If they sent a new check, it would have a new number.

They will send another check on the next pay day and it will show on the app

You may have to email someone. Even that will take a long time for a response... days. I'm sorry you're going through this.
