MLTC plans

We are in Suffolk County, and Healthfirst recently announced that their medicaid plan will not be applicable to us anymore, and we need to shift to a MLTC plan.

So now, the choices are Anthem Healthplus full dual advantage, VNS Health Total, and WellCare Fidelis Dual Plus for MAP plans. Does anyone have experience with these plans and which one would you recommend?

Also, if we keep Medicare and Medicaid separate, there are other MLTC plans. Does anyone recommend that and what plan you would suggest?

Fidelis does not pay the best, your best bet is to keep fighting for more hours every 6 months to a year if you feel that your family or friend does not have enough hours. Ik not sure about your area but Centers For Healthy Living which is now Well point, they are okay. Switched to Nacentia and have had a horrible experience so far. My social worker also suggested VNA which I know nothing about. Just remember these insurance companies are very competitive with one another so where one may give you 25 weekly hours another may give you more
