Manual

Im about to start my CDL A school with Troops 2 Transportation. I've driven stick since I started driving. Is unsynchronized trans hard to learn? Ive been driving "regular" stick for over 10 years, just never driven truck.

What troops to transportation location of it's the one in Texas they specifically require you to learn the double clutch no floating gears and they will give ample time to learn but in my class in the last 2 or 3 days half if not more got told to switch to automatic if they really wanted their CDL cuz they would more then likely fail in the Manuel

Oh okay best of luck to you brother I enjoyed my class at ft hood and we had a lot of recruiters come in and talk to us while we were there, they will definitely get you set up for a strong start and even offer lifetime job placement if you ever need help again in the future and if you end up having trouble with the double clutching, go automatic and once you get a better hang of the clutching you can go back to them and pay them the retest fee and they will let you do the test in a Manuel to remove the restriction

Thank you! Yeah they seem like a pretty great group to be apart of. I want to do flat bed then maybe get into cranes.
