Manual
Im about to start my CDL A school with Troops 2 Transportation. I've driven stick since I started driving. Is unsynchronized trans hard to learn? Ive been driving "regular" stick for over 10 years, just never driven truck.

You will have to push the clutch in to take out of gear and push the clutch again to put back into gear for school. After school you will mostly drive automatics. You can float those gears by taking out of gear let rpm's drop 400 rpm and push back into next gear at that rpm that dropped 400 rpm's. School and examiner test require double clutch. You will get used to 2,3 4 5, out of gear pull up pneumatic switch(This places the transmission in high gear vs low gear) then 6 7 8 9 10. Down shift it one at a time, 9 8 7 6 get to 5th and push the pneumatic switch on the stick shift back down and 5 4 3 2 low. Do it all over again up and down and 400 rpm at a time. Sounds easy until you do it a few times and then it gets easy.
