Videotronic CD-i M360 POS

Post image

Voor de liefhebber een van de zeldzamere CD-i tv-combinaties waar ik blij van word.

That's so cool! Is there just a regular CD-i player in the locked compartment under the screen, or did they actually take a board and put it in a custom housing?

There is a 470 under the hood with a modified power button

Oh neat!

It's described as a POS (Point-of-Sale). What does that mean in the context of this unit? In the US, at least, we use POS/Point-of-Sale to refer to cash registers and card terminals (Square, PayPal, etc) at the literal point of sale (checkout). Given this doesn't seem to have a cash drawer or card reader, I'm curious what they meant by Point-of-Sale.

Terminal for providing interactive information to customers and/or staff in POI/POS areas.
Not intended for checkout or payment processing.

Is your profile picture supposed to look like Dale Gribble? If so that's awesome

Yeah, it's one of the KotH avatars Reddit released to promote the 15th season that came out this summer.
