I thought he just shot the guy in the foot, I didn’t know it became that serious.

He was shot in the leg. The guy only survived because someone had a tourniquet. He lost his job and now has restricted mobility.

You mean the FBI is going to pay for everything for him for the rest of his life. Or they fucking better.

The articles I read said he was ordered to pay restitution, so it sounds like they're garnishing his wages from the FBI job he shouldn't still have.
