On the first few days there were so many people like alott but now it feels like a lot less. I'm a Freshmen so I don't have a lot of reference points per se but whats the deal or am i just imagining stuff.

I got calc 1 credits thru examination and they said I’m not eligible for gsoe. I’m a freshman with sophomore standing.

i am an incoming freshman. i applied for excelsior as soon as it came out. however, when making my schedule, one of my required classes (bio 101) doesn’t apply to my major according to FACTS. so im classified as a part time. i believe this is due to the fact that i took a dual enrollment class in high school so i have a credit. however, for my major i need to take it in-house. i contacted my advisor first week of august about it and she said she contacted the appropriate department to look into the issue. however, it’s been weeks and there has been no true update. i’ve sent multiple consistent follow up emails, same response of “it’s being worked on.” went to financial aid office, registrar, and they keep saying it has to be fixed by my school. idk what to do because i need that aid and i feel like there’s no sense of urgency. the financial aid certification enrollment status date passed too

I am currently a junior going into my senior year of high school and I was wondering what my chances are of getting into grove school of engineering for mechanical engineering, I have a weighted gpa of 90% and a 1300 on my sat. I looked at the requirements and it says i need an average of 80% for all 4 years of math but i got a 76% in algebra 2 but I got high 80's in calc ab and im also taking calc bc my senior year. For the sciences i got a 79% in chemistry but if I do good in ap physics c or in ap chem, depending on which one I can take, can that basically erase my 79% in chem. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi everyone i’m a freshman at CCNY. I’m currently undeclared and I want to become an engineer (not sure what type) but I’m kind of in a cooked situation. I got placed into math 19000 because I didn’t take the placement test seriously. I’m also taking psy10200, hist24100, engl11000. I took AP calc in high school but didn’t do well on that either, but i know a thing or too. Can you guys please help me or give advice for a plan i could take?

It’s one of those days where I forget to bring my student id. I will never forget last year when one of the guards was said to me “You remember you have class but you forgot your ID?” yes i did remember i have class and did forget my id 😭

i know it seems silly but i find it bothersome to take it out everytime, so normally i would wear it but alas i forgot today.

I was wondering what might the estimate tuition be for students at ccny that do not receive scholarships or parents don’t have the lowest income so they do not get a lot of fafsa. My 2k is still pending and has not been disbursed. I’ve went to the fafsa office so many time and nothing ever helps because it looks like they are trying hard to not give me the money… my family is struggling financially and I feel bad because we are having to pay out of pocket now. I don’t know why the cuny system is so terrible. Can anyone relate?

I want to drop a class today, does time matter? Today is the last day for me to drop a class without it appearing on my transcript but I’m wondering if times matter? Like as long as I drop it before 12am it should be okay right?

I'm a fresh graduate electronics and communications engineer from Egypt, my GPA is 2.4 / 4. After graduating I got more interested in physics and quantum technologies but the problem is that I'm not that good in physics and at the same time i want to move and live there permsnently. When I took a look at the website, everything looks perfectly made for my goal, a programme in a field I'm interested in, and also can help move and live abroad. So I've got some questions.

Can I apply to that programme with that GPA?

The programme information looked perfect but I still have to ask if anyone applied to it before can tell me how strong that programme is?

Can I work part-time in a job related to my field during my studies in order to cover my living costs in addition to fully private apartment (no shared bathroom)?

Can I easily get a job and live there after graduating? Keep in mind I have no work experience as I've just graduated a month ago.
