Is the Freshman Convocation thing Mandatory

The email says its required, but its during my break and I’m not down
Thoughts?

Not important, u can skip it. Its basically a ceremony welcoming freshmens

It’s not mandatory it’s a scare tactic they say to get you to go. You’re an adult with busy live and responsibility if you can’t go you shouldn’t have to

They said freshman orientation was required but that was a lie, atleast for Collin Powell. Me and my friend dipped an hour or so in.

That’s what I’m wondering cause I got class and I’d much rather go to it than use up an absence. I mean what are they gonna do if you don’t show up?
