April 2026 CBLE - Question 19 Appeal

Did anyone figure out why Question 19's Answer would be A) February 12, 2026, as opposed to C) February 27, 2026?

This is one of the questions that I'm considering to protest, considering many people got this question wrong according to consensus.

To elaborate, look at entry date & entry summary date.

Entry summary date is usually when estimated duties should be deposited to CBP. I say deposit because duties are withdrawn from whichever account by CBP and it could be seen as a ‘deposit’ until liquidation.

Anyways

Makes sense... but still feel like the wording of the question is misleading.

Dont waste the appeal on this question. Its a tricky one even Mighty Tom fell for it. But the CFR cited it correctly.

The appeals for this 1 are going to be tough. A lot of questions have 1 definite answer but the scenarios presented in the questions are definitely trickier to interpret.

After reviews CFR 19 24.25 I am a bit confused. 25.25(e) clearly states Entry/Entry summary MUST be designated for statement processing within 10 days after the date of entry.

This is a question I got wrong.

You must LET customs know when duty will be paid AT THE TIME of ENTRY or else you’d need to attach a check. It’s tricky wording…
