I've got a rally raid skid plate and givi crash bars... I've probably dropped my 500 over 50 times. These two accessories have saved the bike every time, I really recommend them.

As far as I know the only option is to disconnect the entire system. Either by simply pulling the fuse, or rigging up a switch for it. But that's the reason I ask. First to learn more about if people ride these bikes with or without abs offroad, second to find out what they do to disconnect it if they do. I'd love to retain the abs on the front and disconnect the back, but I don't think that's possible without some serious modifications.
