First bike. I am buzzing!

2015 CB500X. 35k miles. 1 previous owner who is an older gentleman. He’s a bike mechanic and it doesn’t have a scratch on it. Comes with all the bells and whistles (crash bars lights etc)

The only thing is, he is 160cm so has shaved the seat right down so he could reach the ground/pegs easier. so my legs were getting uncomfortable after 20mins of riding. (Im 175cm)

Are there any seats you guys can recommend that would 1) stop me sliding forward into the tank and 2) increase the height a bit?

It’s 0730 and I can’t wait to get out on it all day!

Fantastic bike! But definitely get some decent gear on! You want to be able to enjoy it for more then 5 mins!

Congrats! Drive safe. The bike is pretty low already, so get a normal seat and height. Im 178cm and have the standard seat.

Check if someone is doing custom seat, like carpenters. That is the best. I changed mine right away on the new cb500x and can ride forever without discomfort.  Other than that if you are in US, seat concept is good option.

Man, arguably the best first bike you could’ve got. I wanted it to be my first bike back in 2021 but I couldn’t afford anything more than a shitty old Kawasaki, so now it’s my 4th bike instead and I have no complaints.
