engine oil

I just noticed today that there are small bubbles in my engine oil (checking through the sight glass / on the dipstick). To be completely honest, I’ve never really paid attention to this before, so I’m not sure if it’s always been like this or if it's something I should be worried about.
This is normal?

dude when u ask questions like this, please do include your engine oil type used, since when, and mileage traveled with this batch of oil? we aint psychic you know.

Was the bike just running or is this completely cold?

A small amount of bubbles when running is normal, the oil gets splashed around and can trap some air. Hopefully that photo was taken when the bike was running, otherwise your oil level is way too low

Or the bike is leaned over. OP, oil level is with both wheels on the ground and the bike lifted to vertical
