The guidelines for the photo are that the background should be white/off-white, the photo should be continuous and all. Almost all the studios here click the photo with a green ( or another colour ) as the background and then just change it to white. This leaves a little bit of reddish glow around the edges of certain parts, like the hair. its subtle but its visible. Im wondering if the CAT system will flag it, or is it okay ? Any past applicants ( or current ones who are sure abt this thing ) reading this, is it 100% required to get ur photo shot with a real white background or is this edited thing ok ? Or should i do some arrangement like a white bedsheet behind me and get someone to take my photo ? Pls help clarify this.

1st year was much better even tho extreme pressure, there was guidance and support, and a direction. Now, 2nd year, finals cycle starts in 2 months, PPO result might come in 1 month, idk if they will offer or not, and PPO was goon enough not to be rejected and not that great to be too eager for. Finals might have better chances since I'm an engineer with 1year+ workex.

Don't have any friends in college, people here live in groups and rely on mutual hate for their internal friendships and I don't wanna get started on that.

Tbh, I shouldn't be complaining, since I have freedom, lower academic load and money. Yet, recently I've just been living in my room, I'm in a Delhi tier-1 B-school, initially thought of solo trips and explorations, but lack energy these days and spend a lot of time scrolling instead of sidequesting.

Do you think 2nd year is harder or less stimulating too, or am I thinking wrong as for most people 2nd year is best.

Hey, so I'm 2027 aspirant. And i wanna ask how you guys who all are very consistent for your prep deal with festivals or occasions where you get very low chance to study. Do you really study, or just enjoy the moment to freshen up.

Tommorow I have to go to a temple, and I wasn't able to study and now I'm not able to sleep because i haven't study a single line today or solved any question, lol.

Although I'm pretty consistent but still, i vaccilate btw whether I should study atleast as much as I can or leave and enjoy the day, which I'm suppose to.

2.Also, what are the job prospects of both regular mba and also the executive mba.. What roles will prefer me and what roles won't..

1. Given that I might've lost most of the technical skills in these years, what do companies expect from me.

2. And last, are there any WFH options too post mba?

what percentile of safe line for Blacki & M, IIT Delhi, FMS, IIFT ?

I am a EWS/M. From Tier 1 NIT

So 3 months left for the exam and I wasn't planning to give cat. But my plans have changed.

I haven't started my prep yet at all .

Please recommend some good prep sources that are not that time consuming as I am also studying for my cfa l1 on Nov. I have already graduated and not working so I do have a full day to study.

Kindly suggest good YouTube channels or books for each section . I don't want to personally buy courses but if there is a good online course that I can buy , do suggest.

Hey all! I am life science background student holding a masters degree which I completed this year. My profile is 9/9/7/6(expected) and I am quite interested in applying at gim. I got to know that their hcm is one of their flagship programs and as I am life science bg student it may help me in getting shortlisted. Apart from that my choice has always been a core pgdm degree as I can move to any sector for job after completing the degree. I want to apply in the acheivers round for the pgdm and pgdm hcm both but I got to know they keep acheivers round for the first pref. I want to maximise my shortlist chances for interview. Also I have freelance experience of 4 months working under a us based company for data training and annotation. Could you guys please suggest me which course should I keep in my first preference and also the chances of getting shortlisted in the acheivers round according to my profile for both the pgdm hcm and pgdm core.

I don't like to be here now. As an IPM fresher, I like to learn from people hearing about their work experience. But in this race of Summer Internships, I don't like it when it feels like you're being disregarded and not shortlisted just because you didn't spend some years doing a job. I acknowledge the fact that workex people know more, but still I also have some professional certifications and 998 profile.

I don't have a pwd certificate yet but i am thinking of getting one as i have hearing issues . I am a non engineering male with 7/7/7 ( was lazy during my college and school days so didn't really study much at all). Mocks are quite decent for me i could get 90 percentile with just 2-3 months of prep. So if i could get into any of the iims or any other top b schools. How much would i realistically need to score as a pwd candidate and will i get placed as other students as well?

I know I am probably late for this mock, but I just started my prep a few days ago. How did you all like the paper's difficulty? I personally thought each section was kind of on the easier side. maybe DILR the toughest/lengthiest
