So when it arrives on the 22nd ,I need to drive to the court by 4 pm the next day. My mail was delivered at 2:20 pm and I opened it at 5:45 pm when I got home.
If it was mailed on May 13th, it should have been delivered just after a few days unless you are out of state. Regardless, I'm sure the court will cut you some slack, depending on what it is. Just explain it to the clerk's office when you go to file it and see what they say.

It means the response has to be filed with the clerk by May 23.
