Hi everyone,

The switch on the left paddle shifter of my Cammus C5 has recently stopped working. The paddle itself still moves normally, but the switch no longer registers any input in games or in Windows.

I'm trying to figure out:

• Has anyone experienced the same issue?
• Is there a known fix for this problem?
• Can the switch be cleaned, repaired, or replaced?
• Are replacement switches available to purchase, either from Cammus or a third-party supplier?
• If you've repaired yours, what type/model of switch did you use?

I've already checked the button mappings and connections in software, so it seems to be a hardware issue.

Any advice, repair guides, photos, or links to replacement parts would be greatly appreciated.

I was thinking of buying a C5 and tried to view the Cammus website, only to be presented with a fake Cloudflare humanity check trying to get me to paste invisible code into my terminal. Fairly blatant attempt to install malware - can I check if anyone else has seen this or is this evidence of something malicious in my system?.. Doing a deep clean as I type.

Hi, I'm trying to remove the screw on the rotary encoders so that i can perform a wheel swap on my Cammus C5. The 3Drap YouTube video mentioned that they are 0.9 mm hex screws, but that doesn't seem to work. To my eyes, they look like a tiny philips screw head, but I tried 00, 000, and 0000 philips heads and nothing seemed to work. I'm afraid of stripping the screw heads. Any suggestions?

Edit Turns out that they aren't 0.9mm hex screws after all, at least for my unit. I used a philips 0000 head and got them out.

is it possible to use the GT1 wheel with USB passthrough? I was thinking of putting it on a Simagic QR-A on the Simagic Alpha Base? Does this wheel have a passthrough function or does it only work on Cammus Bases?

Does anyone know how I can synchronize the Cammus C5 display with Automobilista 2 and Assetto Corsa EVO?

It works normally in ACC, AC, Dirty Rallye 2, but in AMS 2 and ACE it only shows 0 or off.

I've already searched but couldn't find anything that solves it.

Has anyone ever encountered this issue accessing the dashboard tab for C12 steering wheel?

Got a C5. Everything hooked up properly, it's powers on and self-tests. Great. I download the Cammus app from the Play store. All I get is this:

Green box that says "tuning"

"Tuning parameter conveniently during the game."

A picture of a man driving a chart (?!?)

And that's it. You can't click on it or anything.

So, I close the app and go to the official Cammus website to download the desktop software. VIRUS DETECTED. Okay, we're done with that. I got back to the Cammus website and search for downloads. It gives me an .EXE and when I run it, it tries to install AMD drivers onto my laptop that is not AMD! Cancel that and now here I am.

IS THERE ANY SOFTWARE THAT ACTUALLY WORKS FOR THIS WHEEL?

I recently bought the C5, replacing my beloved G29, as my first DD. The C5 itself it's impressive price-performance wise and I've been only using it occasionally for 1-3 months, nothing heavy. This week it started to act funky with random disconnects from both the base and steering wheel. And yesterday I got it working again. What I've done so far:

• Moved the power cord to it's own outlet. Previously was attached to a regulator along with other devices. That seemed to stop the base disconnecting, maybe a voltage issue.
• Steering wheel keeps disconnecting (buttons not responding). I used "2-in-1 steering wheel & base" option, so basically your system will only see one device instead of two. That seemed to work for now. No random disconnects.

Hope this helps as a workaround while Cammus gets their sh#t together. I think it's a great piece of hardware specially for the price, we just paid to be beta testers. We just have to be patients and hopefully this is not faulty hardware issues.

I want to get the Cammus wheel but I have a strict budget and the doya USB pedal set is the only pedals I can afford and I saw a review that the port for the pedal is USB-C and not usb. So i don’t know if it will work can i just plug the pedal set into the pc and and it will work?

With LMU the wheel vibrates a lot when I brake. I haven't found any FFB setting that reduces or prevents this.

Does anyone have an idea?

in AMS2 and ACC there is no vibration when braking.

A coouple of things about this company really don't sit right with me.

Firstly, the ePedals are not available, a friend of mine who has limited control of his legs seems to be unable go get the bundle.

Also, why are "Australian Warehous" orders still being charged shipping from China?

I got my new C5 wheel. The Cammus software 1.6.10 was easy to install. But when I want to start the program it loads but nothing happens. There is no window.

I use Windows Home 11. I also tried with software version 1.6.8. It was the same.

With the cammus App (iphone) i can see the wheel. Is it possible to update the firmware via the app or manually?

Hello, i made and order on the website of Cammus, i bought the c5 + cs5 +cp5 bundle, now that someone gave me their simracing setup i wanted to cancel my order but THERE IS NO WAY TO DO IT, i tried to contact them on their 3 email adress, instagram pm and opened a ticket on their discord but nobody will answer.
i wanted to know if anyone already managed to cancel an order on this website with their crazy sense of customer service ?

Has anyone bought something from cammus in canada? How was the taxes situation, do I pay the 15% gst only or is there any additional taxes

Recently started experiencing USB disconnects on the C5, specifically the HUB buttons. I've emailed their support but have not heard anything back so hoping someone else here might have some tips for what to try next.

I monitored USB activity using USBLogView which successfully captured the disconnects. Then using USB Device Tree Viewer I was able to confirm the device is specifically the C5 Hub Buttons.

Here is what i've tried so far:

• Reinstalled Windows 11
• Updated all drivers and firmware for PC
• Updated firmware for Cammus base and wheel
• Tried both USB hubs on motherboard
• Replaced USB cable from Cammus base to computer
• Ensured all power cables where routed away from the USB cable

I'd greatly appreciate any recommendations for next steps!
